Mark Hundley has been dedicated to woodworking since 1975. He began his journey in custom trim work at the young age of 17, discovering a passion that has lasted a lifetime.

In 1992, he founded Custom Trim-Craft, where his love for woodworking has flourished.

Starting with trim, Mark moved on to creating stunning custom fireplace mantels, then ventured into furniture making, and ultimately mastered the art of custom cabinets. His designs range from farmhouse styles to seamless options, with and without face frames, including cabinets featuring hidden compartments. If you can dream it, Mark and his team can design and build it, showcasing his artistry and dedication to craftsmanship.

Lonnie Paul Garcia moved to Quinlan, TX, in 2015 from the Houston area, primarily working in refineries and labor jobs. The transition to Quinlan introduced him to a new world of carpentry and warehouse work, fields he knew little about. His early experiences were challenging, ranging from working on a septic truck to doing concrete work, neither of which was easy. However, his luck changed when his wife, Katy, found Mark Hundley through a post on the Neighbors app, which was seeking help at a cabinet shop. She reached out, set up an interview, and two weeks later, Mark offered Lonnie a position.

Nervous about stepping into a new field, Lonnie was committed to proving himself, especially since his wife had discovered this opportunity for him. At Custom Trim-Craft, he worked hard to learn the trade, even though remembering all the details was daunting at first. His breakthrough moment came when he built a mahogany front door, starting from raw wood while Mark coached him through the process. When it was completed and installed, Mark took a piece of the raw wood and stamped the couple's initials on it. The excitement on the homeowner's face was priceless, turning into tears of joy when she saw the finished door.

This experience ignited Lonnie's passion for woodworking. He truly embodied the saying, "Find a job you love, and you will never work a day in your life." The rest, as they say, is history. Lonnie has since fallen in love with building custom cabinets and all aspects of woodworking, including Dremel wood carving and creating wood signs in his free time. He and Katy also attend trade days in Canton, Texas, once a month to sell their creations—Lonnie builds them, and Katy paints and finishes the pieces. Lonnie credits his journey and success to his supportive wife, Katy, and their shared passion for the craft.
